One thing to remember, the DJ you hire will play a big part and sucess in the event you are having.  Make sure the DJ understands what type of music "You" want and don't want.  It's also their job to read the crowd and understand what works and doesn't work.  Please interview more than one DJ and regardless of the price, please make sure you both understand each other.
